Privacy Policy
Cupidstar is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.
What stays on your phone
Your first name, your birthday and any partner’s birthday you enter are stored only on your device. We use them on your phone for greetings and to work out star signs, and never send them to our servers.
The next few days of readings for your sign are also kept on your phone, and your daily notification is scheduled by the phone itself.
What we store on our servers
A random ID created by the app (not linked to your name, email or Apple ID), your sun sign, your relationship status, your timezone, your chosen notification time and whether notifications are on.
Whether you have Premium (an active subscription or a Lifetime purchase).
How readings are written
Readings are written by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) for each sign and relationship status, not for you individually. Only the sign, relationship status and date are sent to the AI provider — never anything that identifies you.
Services we use
Apple processes all payments; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat manages Premium status using the random app ID. Railway hosts our servers and database. Anthropic provides the AI model.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone. To delete the data on our servers, email us and we will remove it.
Children
Cupidstar is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
